Last night, my jeddo in Beirut sent me a message asking if I had been on TV.

He told me he wasn’t completely sure at first, but that he knew it was me for sure from my voice (a very ifykyk thing).

That’s how I found out the episode had finally aired!!

Four months ago, I spent a day on set filming for @millionriyalmenu.ksa and helping out one of the contestants test their food concept at the @blvdruhcity in Riyadh.

A huge thank you to the Million Riyal Menu team for the opportunity, and to @misho_baeshen for the kind words, means a lot (!!شكراً من القلب)

I usually prefer being behind the camera so being in front of one was definitely a change. Super grateful for the people I met, the experience itself, and the memories I got to take away from it ❤️

First time on TV cooking and hopefully not the last?!

You start to notice the details the details in the kitchen: the way hands move without hesitation, the respect for good ingredients, the unspoken and spoken understanding of when to step in or out (a kind of technique in itself haha). Im truly grateful for what this team has taught me, way beyond the kitchen.

seared duck, carrots, pan sauce made by deglazing some shallots with an agrodolci bianco (current fixation since jan) and a side of garlic confit mashed potatoes
